1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.1 Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and Funladder AB, organization number [To be provided], with registered office in Stockholm, Sweden ("Funladder", "we", "us", "our"), governing your use of the Funladder mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

1.2 Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1.3 Capacity

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

2.1 Platform Purpose

Funladder is a social competition platform that connects users for real-world competitive activities including but not limited to Snooker, Darts, Bowling, and other recreational games. The Service facilitates match discovery, score recording, skill-based ranking, and venue discovery.

2.2 Service Scope

We provide the platform for users to:

Find and connect with opponents
Record and track match results
Participate in skill-based ranking systems
Discover local venues and events
Communicate with other users (when available)
Manage competition schedules

2.3 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account through our third-party authentication provider, Clerk.com. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use

3.2 Username Requirements

Your username and display name must not:

Contain email addresses or personal contact information
Violate any third party's intellectual property rights
Be offensive, vulgar, or violate common decency
Impersonate another person or entity
Contain promotional or commercial content

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, remain inactive for extended periods, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. User Conduct and Fair Play

4.1 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Falsify, manipulate, or misrepresent match scores or results
Create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings
Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized software
Engage in any form of match-fixing or collusion
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Share false or misleading information
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Use the Service for any commercial purposes without authorization
Engage in any activity that could damage our reputation

4.2 Score Integrity

All match results must be accurately reported. Both players should verify scores before submission. Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of match completion through our dispute resolution system.

4.3 Anti-Cheating Enforcement

Violations of fair play rules may result in:

First offense: Warning and score correction
Second offense: Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
Third offense: Permanent account termination
Severe violations: Immediate permanent ban and potential public disclosure

5. Real-World Interactions and Liability

5.1 Offline Activities Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Funladder facilitates connections between users but does not control, supervise, or assume responsibility for any real-world interactions, meetings, or activities that occur outside the platform.

5.2 User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

You participate in real-world meetings at your own risk
You are solely responsible for your safety and well-being
You should exercise caution when meeting other users
You should verify venue safety and suitability independently
You must comply with all venue rules and regulations

5.3 Release of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, you release Funladder AB, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, demands, damages, or liability arising from:

Any interactions with other users, online or offline
Any disputes between users
Any injuries or damages at venues or during activities
Any user's violation of these Terms

5.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Funladder AB from any claims, losses, liability, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Data Processing

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection laws.

6.2 Public Information

You understand and agree that:

Your username, match results, and rankings are publicly visible
Your profile information may be visible to other users based on your privacy settings
Historical match data remains in the system for ranking integrity even after account deletion
Leaderboards and competition results are public by default

6.3 Location Data

When you grant location permissions, we use your location data solely to:

Show nearby venues and players
Suggest relevant matches in your area
Improve our venue recommendations You can disable location sharing at any time through your device settings.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 User Content

By posting content to the Service, you grant Funladder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content for Service operation and improvement.

7.2 Content Standards

You retain ownership of your content but must ensure it:

Does not infringe any intellectual property rights
Is not defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate
Does not contain personal information of others
Complies with all applicable laws

7.3 Platform Content

All Funladder content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains our exclusive property.

8. Premium Services and Payments

8.1 Subscription Services

Funladder offers premium subscription tiers ("Funladder Plus") with additional features. Subscription terms include:

Monthly or annual billing cycles
Automatic renewal unless cancelled
Price changes with 30 days notice
Non-transferable between accounts

8.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through third-party providers (primarily Stripe). We do not store your payment card details. You agree to the payment processor's terms and conditions.

8.3 Cancellation and Refunds

EU Consumer Rights: In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you have 14 days from subscription purchase to cancel for a full refund. After this period:

Cancel anytime to stop future charges
No refunds for partial periods
Benefits continue until the end of the current billing period

8.4 Free Trial

If offered, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You may only use one free trial per account.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
Match opponents will appear as scheduled
Rankings accurately reflect skill levels

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY SWEDISH LAW, FUNLADDER AB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9.4 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution Process

Any disputes shall be resolved through the following process:

Negotiation: First attempt to resolve informally within 30 days
Mediation: If negotiation fails, non-binding mediation in Stockholm
Arbitration: Final binding arbitration under the rules of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce

10.3 Venue

Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Stockholm, Sweden, and you consent to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.

11. Modifications and Updates

11.1 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through:

Email notification to registered users
Prominent notice in the Service
Update to the "Last Updated" date

11.2 Continued Use

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

12. Termination

12.1 User Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination:

Your personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy
Match history will be anonymized but retained
Any outstanding payments remain due
Premium benefits cease immediately

12.2 Our Termination Rights

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for:

Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Extended inactivity (12+ months)
Any reason with 30 days notice

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Access to the Service ceases
User content may be deleted
No refunds for unused subscription periods
Certain provisions of these Terms survive

13. Communication

13.1 Electronic Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us via email or through the Service regarding:

Service updates and changes
Security and account notices
Marketing (with opt-out option)

13.2 User-to-User Communication

When available, in-app communication features are subject to these Terms. We may monitor communications for safety and compliance but are not responsible for user communications.

14. Special Provisions for Minors

14.1 Age Restriction

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover a user is under 18, we will terminate their account.

14.2 Parental Responsibility

Parents or guardians who allow minors to access the Service are fully responsible for their online conduct and compliance with these Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Funladder AB regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them. We may assign our rights to any successor or acquirer.

15.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, or acts of civil or military authorities.
